Rather than simply offering a loose affiliation that comes together to gain access to more markets or increase profit sharing, RAIS has built a lean and highly effective infrastructure to support members. Unlike other agency groups, you remain the sole owner of your business, in control of where each piece of business is placed and with full ownership of your entire expiration list.
Benefits compound over time
The benefits of RAIS membership begin almost immediately, but full benefits compound over time. Members experience increased efficiencies and growth when they are fully utilizing RAIS services. Agencies considering membership should be prepared to make a long term commitment, but it is significant to note that this is not a contractual obligation, Unlike other agency groups, there is no penalty for withdrawal. Should an agency find that RAIS does not prove to be the right choice, they need only give a 180 day written notice to terminate membership. In our eleven year history, only a few agencies have chosen to exercise this option, usually due to some extenuating circumstances particular to their agency. This option provides prospective members with a level of comfort and control. The fact that we offer this option freely is a mark of our confidence that resignation is highly unlikely given the benefits. Experience has borne this out.
